Allan Webb is delighted to introduce our new Head of Obsolescence Management (OM), Tim Elliott, who recently joined our team from DE&S. He will be taking over from Stuart Kelly as the lead on all things OM related across the company and is available to discuss any requirements you may have.
Tim is an APM Chartered Senior Project Manager who has excelled in delivering complex end-to-end technical engineering programmes, capabilities and support solutions across the Aerospace & Defence, Energy and Nuclear sectors. As an Obsolescence Specialist, he will be using his wealth of expert knowledge, skills and experience to provide guidance and deliver best practice to enable Allan Webb Ltd to deliver through-life plans and obsolescence risk mitigation strategies across the supply chain, including platform availability and whole life costs.
Tim’s accomplishments have included: development of the Support Solution Obsolescence Management Service for the UK Nuclear Deterrent Dreadnought Submarine Programme and creating a strategic collaboration with the Industrial Partner, Key Army HQ and DE&S teams to deliver the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme support solution vision and implementation plan.
Tim is interested in utilising obsolescence management analytics, including other data sources, to develop asset management whole life costings. Thereby, improving the provision of support services and ultimately delivering a significant benefit for the End User.
Tim will be manning our virtual stand at the IIOM conference on May 20th 2021. To find out more information or to book a one-on-one meeting with Tim, please review our Event Page:
