The Obsolescence Management Tool

DiamondOM is a tool designed, developed and used by Obsolescence Management experts. 

The solution begins with establishing the current obsolescence status of the parts within the list, which is then continually monitored for any changes.

Using DiamondOM algorithms, your Bill of Materials or parts list can be filtered to remove parts that are not cost effective for you to pro-actively manage.

All Part types (e.g. electronic, mechanical and assemblies) are analysed and continuously monitored.

Using your inventory data, automatic analysis and reporting is undertaken on the Obsolescence Risk that your product or project is carrying.

The tool includes a workflow for Obsolescence Resolutions so that your team can stay up to date with important studies and updates on mitigations and resolutions where issues are identified.

If required, we can support you in this process or also manage your obsolescence problems on your behalf. If an obsolescence risk needs to be investigated and resolved, we can do that for you.  

Via a secure Customer portal, you will be able to log in to DiamondOM and access the up to date position of your project’s Obsolescence risk status and run your own reports bespoke to your own procedures and requirements. If you don’t know where to start, our OM experts are available to recommend appropriate reports depending on your project and the information you need to know.  

The DiamondOM solution also provides other services such as cost avoidance reporting, predictive cost modelling (to help you and your Customer budget more effectively), ROHS, REACH compliance ,trade controls and counterfeit reporting.
