Legacy Data Conversion
At Allan Webb we are firm believers in not re-inventing the wheel! When providing technical documentation we will utilise our scanning or electronic conversion capability to re-use existing information wherever possible.
In a project for the MoD, we converted over 6,000 hardcopy pages of paper a week to SGML, to a total of 1 million pages. This was achieved by using our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capability and experience in authoring to SGML.
