Allan Webb can supply the complete Def Stan 00-56 Safety and Environmental Case solution from scoping and advice to expertise and resources. As part of this service Allan Webb regularly undertake the following activities for new to service and legacy systems:
- Preparation of a safety and environmental programme plan
- Preparation of the safety and environmental case which could include:
- Hazard Log utilising the Cassandra Hazard Management System software tool
- Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies
- Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Human Reliability Assessment (HRA)
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Bow Tie Analysis
- Preparation of a safety and environmental case report
POSMS and POEMS
The MoD have introduced the Acquisition Safety and Environmental Management System (ASEMS) for application to all their Acquisition Projects. Each manual contains a number of procedures designed to assist organisations to manage safety risks and environmental impacts and to apply the appropriate mitigation measures.
At the core of the ASEMS there are two Systems Manuals: the Project Oriented Safety Management System (POSMS); and the Project Oriented Environmental Management System (POEMS). Allan Webb can offer advice on POSMS and POEMS systems and their compliance.
